To celebrate their 35th year as the 'Kings of disco', 70s disco group the Village people have announced a special Australian tour, late this year.
The group are famed for their commercialisation of the disco genre in the 70s and 80s, with their instantly recognisable classics such as 'YMCA', 'In the Navy', 'Macho Man', and 'Go West', as part of their legacy.
Although, over the past thirty years there have been a few lineup changes to the group, leaving only two original members, Native American Felipe Rose and military man Alexander Briley.
The group have sold more than 100 million records worldwide and will be bringing their classic hits, suggestive dance moves and moustaches down under for 3 dates around the country in November.
