If there’s one thing I learned in Europe and Russia over the last couple weeks it’s that we Americans need to lighten up a bit. It’s so important to enjoy the good times, look out for one another and realize that if you’ve got some good music, some good friends and maybe an alcoholic beverage or nine you’re doing pretty well. Maybe the international community is more cognizant of how many people in the world are without these simple pleasures and thusly embraces them with an impressive and infectious zeal (that you can tell I’m still buzzing from).
