A frightening look into the future of technology took place when Google unveiled their new product they had been secretly been working on for over two years. Project Glass, as it is known, involves a range of computer glasses, that include an internet connection and a variety of features.
The glasses allow wearers to see directions to locations, or friends text messages right in front of their very eyes. Users can also take photos, tweet, shop online and facebook anywhere at anytime with the new gadget.

The product is set to be launched in 2014, but prototypes can be preordered for around $1,500. In response to the revealing of the Google glasses, Apple took out a patent for a very similar wearable display device, to challenge the new product.
