Deadmau5, aka Joel Zimmerman, has released an impromptu remix of industrial rock band Nine Inch Nail's 2007 track ‘Survivalism’, available for fans on his soundcloud.
Deadmau5 is famous for many things, one being his history of genre-crossing releases, remixes and collaborations. His latest single 'Professional Griefers' features the vocals of My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way, while Zimmerman released a track with hip hop group Cypress Hill, earlier this year.
Over his career Zimmerman has remixed artists of almost every genre, including Daft Punk, Foo Fighters, James Zabelia, Pendulum and Rage Against The Machine.
