A festival that began in the desert is now taking things out on the water. As was reported today by the The New York Times, Coachella has announced two separate December 2012 cruises entitled the S.S. Coachella that will depart out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. One will be a three-day journey of magic to The Bahamas and another will be a four day ride of dreams to Jamaica. With a lineup that includes Pulp, Hot Chip, Girl Talk, Yeasayer, Sleigh Bells, James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem (who will host a wine tasting), Grimes, Cloud Nothings, El-P, Killer Mike, the Rapture, Simian Mobile Disco, !!!, Warpaint, and many more I could get into the idea of some hipsters and dysentery….
