Originator of the mash-up style and turntable master, DJ Z-Trip returns to Australia this August for his first shows in more than two years.
Over a career spanning more than twenty years, Z-Trip’s achievements in the industry are second to none. Named ‘America’s Best DJ’ in 2009, Z-Trip has worked with countless names such as LL Cool J, Datsik, Public Enemy, MSTRKRFT and DJ Shadow, has had remixes approved by The Beastie Boys and Nirvana, and has opened for the likes of The Rolling Stones.
He works directly with technology companies like Rane/Serato and helped create the popular DJ Hero videogame series.
The Sydney leg of the tour will also include the national final of the Red Bul Thre3style DJ competition.
