Tief's Top Five

Ahead of Tief with Pepe Bradock, Soundstream, Manuel Tur and Erdbeerschnitzel gracing the booths of London Corsica Studio's this Saturday, Tief resident and head honcho Matt Hessleworth (Hessletime) gave Pulse's Ellie Hewitt his top five tracks produced by these elusive characters, from baby making music to hands in the air bangers. With Pepe Bradock making a rare UK appearance, he will be bringing the crowd his smooth and flawless sets complete with jazz sampling, hints of disco whilst simultaneously pumping out French house and techno. Panorama bar regular Soundstream is playing alongisde Bradock, with his own special brand of dirty Chicago house and effortless house classics. Manuel Tur is also heading up the bill, as well as Erdbeerschnitzel who will thrill London with his fascinating ad hoc live productions.

Matt: 1. Pepe Bradock 'Deep Burnt' Described as 'Audio art', this is Pepe at his best, pure class!

2. Sound Stream 'Making Love' Disco/house fusion at its very best, taking the best from both genres and putting them together like it was meant to be. Makin Love is my favourite track from Soundstream but its a real hard choice!

3.Manuel Tur feat. Holly Backler 'Most Of This Moment' In my opinion Manuel is one of the most underated producers around. Often slightly more 'poppy' than other acts we invite to Tief, but this is definately not a bad thing, everybody loves a good vocal! This track demonstrates just how good Manuel is at working with vocals, and with a real nod to the nineties, this is one of my favourites.

4. Erdbeerschnitzel 'To An End' Pure baby making music. The Strawberry-schnitzel' is such an inteligent producer, and is responsible for some of my favourite tracksof the last couple of years, all of which are very chilled and atmospheric, i cant wait to see how they go down through the Corsica sound system.

5. Cheek 'Venus' (Sunshine People) Pepe Bradock Mix And one more Pepe production for good luck. Great analogue sounds with slap-dash samples from the master, pure hands-in-the-air banger this one!
