More known for its electro-house than techno, you could say that Tiga is ushering in a new era for his Montreal imprint Turbo Recordings. The New Jack Techno compilation puts forth a new core roster of artists, which includes emerging Toronto talents Gingy & Bordello, Nautiluss and Milano, Hotflush associate Locked Groove, London newcomer J Tijn, rising Scottish stars Clouds and Sei A, and UK super-producer Duke Dumont. As the label itself describes it, New Jack Techno 'strikes a perfect balance between modern bass-influenced dance music and Turbo’s original 90s techno spirit'.
