Denmark’s Noir has cancelled his remaining scheduled appearances at Sonar in Barcelona for this year due to the unexpected death of his beloved father-in-law. The remaining gigs that will not welcome Noir this year include the Off Sonar parties “Wilde On The Beach” (with DJ T., Kolombo, Re.You) and “Souvenir & Friends” (with Tiefschwarz, Cassy). Noir had this to say on FB earlier today: “This week my father in law died unexpectedly. My wife and I love and loved him so much. We were already in Barcelona for the Sonar Festival when we got the terrible news and now we are back in Denmark. For me..... its extremely important to be with family and of course be there 100% for my wife. Therefore i have cancelled my gigs at Sonar this week and will not be playing at "Wilde on the Beach" today/Friday and "Souvenir @ WIP" Saturday. I hope for your understanding.” We’d like to send Noir and his family our deepest condolences, and hope for the best moving forward for them.
