With DC10 in full swing (as this article is being posted) Pulse pinned down Ibiza veteran and Circoloco resident Andrew Grant for a mini ‘AAA Guide’ to the island.
In those very fragile hours in the morning when leaving the club, what is your favourite post-party food takeout? Can you recommend any good places to recharge our batteries? Leaving the club always seems to be a mission in itself. If you need a lil’ recharge, before you carry-on beyond the land of forest and dreams, stop on by Crossaint Show. Plenty of fresh baked goods, natural juices – and characters to match.

What is the best way to unwind from a night out on the island?
Your friend that just came to Ibiza and rented that villa with the big pool up on the hill would be a nice start... But if, for some reason, he is not picking up the phone head to Shardana. Nice pool, big beds, food/ drinks all under the stars. Be careful though, a party might just break out. http://www.facebook.com/groups/81800787415
There are always talks about the secluded beaches and gems of the island. Which is the best beach, in your opinion?
I would suggest Playa Estanyol located on the east coast of the island just behind Jesus. They have parking next to the bar with a small sandy beach and tons of foot-paths to walk around and enjoy the views. Well known for it’s full moon parties.

For the Ibiza novice, what would you say are the major differences between the crowd/music of DC10 circa 2005, in comparison to the DC10 we are beholding in 2012?
I think the attendance is still multinational, but more of the ¨techno vs. underground pop¨ type of vibe. There is no way to pinpoint the ‘DC10 sound’ since it all falls into a wide category known as dance music.
Apart from DC10, which is obviously your domain and has been for the past 12 years, which other club/event do you enjoy on the island?
Nick Curly has a stellar night in Space [Kahakuma} and you also see Zoo Project & Sankeys bring the heat on certain nights. My pick for ´12 though, is Jamie Jones new night...Hot Hot Hot.

The über secret villa parties: – what’s the deal? We’ve heard about a cave in a basement. Without revealing too many details, does it exist? And what do we need to do to get some after party villa action?
Yes it exists.... in order to get in on the private villa you just need to find yourself with the rite people having fun.
Most outrageous Ibiza memory?
Tons... But one special one was seeing Pete Tong in a fisherman's hat and coat amidst a hurricane inside DC10. Rain pouring everywhere, walls caving in and the club full on. Utter madness.
Finally, we are looking forward to next Monday with near-bedwetting excitement.
What can we expect from your set? Any secret weapons/ ‘Ibiza bombs of 2012’ that you want to reveal to us?
I will play a bit of everything, from techno to house and back again. Some big tunes to look out for are DJ QU´s remix of ‘Thirdwave’, Egal 3 ‘Remaster’ and Amirali´s remix of ‘Has To Be Love’.
