Billboard.biz are reporting that U.S. entertainment giant Live Nation Entertainment have bought out Cream Holdings Ltd, owner of the Creamfields festivals around the world. Live Nation Electronic Music has launched with Cream founder and CEO James Barton taking on the role of president, and the pairing of the UK dance brand with the mammoth U.S. entertainment company means that expansion of the festival is in the works, with new Creamfields festivals to be launched in “key markets in North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia”, according to Live Nation’s CEO Michael Rapino. Rapino also added that Live Nation are, "committed to being a leader in electronic music."
