Annie Mac Lets the Sunshine

BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac has added her name to the growing list of selectors putting their twist on the Summertime mix, welcoming in the temperate party season with warm vibes and poolside anthems. Though better known for her expertise in more mainstream sounds, she’s kindly included some less obvious (and perhaps groovier) tracks in her new “Sunshine Mix”. She opens with Justin Martin's "Hood Rich" from West Coast ghetto-tech label Dirtybird and includes Danny Daze’s ‘Million’ which you may recall our offering as a free download. Here’s what the mix means to Annie:
