Love him or hate him, you've got to respect the marketing team behind Tiesto. They've released a custom app, initiated their own branded webisodic series "In the Booth," and recently expanded a one week college tour into a month's worth of shows after rabid demand sold out tickets in record time. In this recent episode of "In The Booth" fans get a spotlight into the sheer immensity of the production on the College Invasion Tour. There's a quick interview with Tiesto's production manager and a brief description of the steps that are taken to ensure the Tiesto stage remains exactly the same as the show travels the country. Tiesto himself mentions ""There's no other DJ who has bigger production in the world" which includes special effects, LEDs and of course, huge sound. The video also introduces us to Porter Robinson another DJ who's star has very much been in the ascent since being discovered by Tiesto. Fans get to see that even Tiesto asks fellow DJs for records sometimes when he bumps into Porter after his performance and tells him he recorded a song in order to ask for it later.
As much as he's not my personal cup of tea, he seems like an alright guy considering everything he's been through-and even if he's not-we're not going to be seeing any less of him in the near future.
