There are good teases and then there are bad ones. While we often encounter our least favorite teases as the clock strikes the later hours at the bar or club, our favorite teases now seem to come in increasingly innovative and exciting ways.
Digital Media, hashtags and easily captured video and photos have all helped add to the excitement and anticipation of movie releases, album names, and most recently festival lineups. Lollapalooza’s lineup announcement campaign has been lent a helpful hand as Chicago inhabitants have eagerly begun to start decoding the breadcrumb trail that festival organizers have been leaving around the city. It seems like, Jack White, the Weeknd, Justice and Die Antwoord are all going to be on offer as fans have spotted lyrics on ads, billboards and video screens from all four of the artist’s songs accompanied by a #lolla. Time to start getting geared up folks!
