Black Strobe are back! The duo, originally made up of Black Strobe records' Arnaud Rebotini and fabric favourite Ivan Smagghe, first came to the fore back in the late 90's with acid filtered electro sounds that gradually went from underground to big time dancefloor hits, culminating in the release that really broke them as a band, Italian Fireflies on Paris' Kitsune label. Rebotini has now reformed the band for 2012 alongside Mathew Zub and Benjamin Beaulieu and has kicked off by handing over that record to a new generation to remix, amongst them Richy Ahmed, Munk and C. Baker. There will also be a brand new album this year. The remix EP was out on Monday, March 5th, but we have an exclusive mix of Italian Fireflies that you won't find on there or anywhere else for that matter, which you can download for free here.
