It's official: Justice has been done in Field Day, Summadayze and Summafieldayze 2012 line-ups. The last time Australian fans were treated to Justice's live show was in 2007, where the powerhouse duo succeeded in whipping the crowds into a frenzy with their blistering live set and light show that well and truly established them as an act not to be missed. This Summer Australian fans will be the first to see Justice perform tracks from their new album Audio, Video, Disco that will be unleashed, four years after their Grammy-nominated debut album †.
Having delivered stellar remixes for Simian, N*E*R*D, Franz Ferdinand, Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, Britney Spears and Soulwax, Justice released their debut album, † in June 2007 to critical acclaim. The album, which featured the festival and dance floor anthems D.A.N.C.E, Phantom, DVNO and Waters of Nazareth, shot the duo into super-stardom and was later nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album. In 2009, Justice won a Grammy Award when their remix of MGMT's monster anthem Electric Feel won Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical.
Xavier de Rosnay & Gaspard Augé, have announced the release of their second album Audio, Video, Disco on October 21st, 2011. Straying even further from their dance music roots, the new effort is at once looser and heavier than previous releases resulting in a heady concoction of rock, electronic and pop.
With this upcoming Oz festival tour Justice join hip hop heavyweight Snoop Dogg, drum and bass superstars Pendulum, glam rockers Scissor Sisters, DJ extraordinaire Calvin Harris, veterans Moby and Grandmaster Flash and many more. Tickets available for all events through Ticketmaster.
