Audio, Video, Disco, the second album by French duo Justice has a sparked a lot of debate over the new direction taken by the former electro kingpins. Now’s your chance to hear the way more melodic and rocking sound Jsutice have come up with since their debut album, Cross, hit hard in 2007. In a a video published yesterday on Rolling Stone magazine's website, the band explains:
"We hear a lot that our new record is more 'rock' than our previous one," says Xavier de Rosnay, one half of the Parisian electronic duo Justice. "We don't feel like we are making rock and roll anyway, or what rock and roll is in 2011 ... It's not trying too hard to sound like something it's not, and the record is really dry," de Rosnay says. "It's bedroom music, and we made it sound like a bedroom music record."
Audio, Video Disco comes out Oct. 25 on Ed Banger Records. Catch Justice at the Summadayze festival and win tickets to see the duo play at the festival, here on Pulse.
